Jonathan Simpson of Connect Property North East (CPNE) presented to an audience of Tees Valley professionals at Mowden Park in Darlington on 13th October. As guest speaker at the Jackson Law Firm Property Seminar, Jonathan provided a market sector update, on the regional Industrial, Office and Retail markets following the recent June referendum. The presentation highlighted the positive investment in the Tees Valley over the course of the last six months, as well as some interesting thoughts on the outlook for the Tees Valley property market.
Jane Armitage, Geoff Skeoch and Erica Turner of Jacksons Law gave an interesting incite and update on break clauses, authorised guarantee agreements, schedule of conditions, rent free periods and sharing occupation. The final speaker was Lee Watson of Clive Owen LLP who gave an interesting presentation on property taxation issues.
Jonathan commented “I would like to thank Jacksons for kindly inviting me to speak to at their seminar and networking event. When you look at the level of transactions and investment into our region over the last six months there is a lot to be positive about. The Industrial market continues to be the region’s top performer, and it is very pleasing to see the Tees Valley and County Durham manufacturing companies continue to do well.
