Houndgate Townhouse, in Houndgate, Darlington, is under new management and recruiting for a number of positions.
The stunning Grade II listed Georgian Townhouse, which has eight bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, closed it’s doors in April 2019 due to ‘economic uncertainty’.
But a recent post on the establishment’s Facebook page announced that the venue is now under new management, and undergoing a refurbishment.
The quaint town centre establishment has obviously been missed by locals as one user commented: “We often used to go here. Looking forward to the new restaurant opening.”
The new owners posted that they are recruiting for head chef, bar manager, restaurant supervisor, front of house staff and a housekeeper.
There is no closing date listed for the positions, advertised on August 19 but applicants are asked to email their CV to email@example.com
