Multi-million pound sale of Dunedin House, Stockton on Tees

One of Teesside‘s landmark office buildings Dunedin house has been sold for an undisclosed sum following marketing by Connect Property North East Ltd. Stockton Borough Council have purchased the freehold investment from Kames Capital of the 100,000 sq ft office investment sale. CPNE acting jointly with Savills (Newcastle) brokered the deal on behalf of the owners. Andrew Wilkinson, director of CPNE said “the timing for the sale was important and we had competitive interest in the asset but the councils town centre plans made this a perfect opportunity for their acquisition. Preparation for the sale followed a period of strong office lettings by Tim Carter Director CPNR reflecting real confidence in the occupational office market.
