Double Trade Counter Success for Newton Aycliffe

Acting on behalf of separate private clients Connect Property North East have secured two new trade counter lettings at Newton Aycliffe Business Park. At Horndale Business Park, Screwfix for have taken a lease of a 5,000 sq ft unit and providing the final letting at the re-vamped former car dealership, that is also now home to Crafters Companion and MCD.

In the adjacent  property, NPA Motor Factors have taken a lease on a 7,000 sq ft  taken a 7,000 sq ft building as part of a major expansion. Founded in 2002 NPA Motor Factors are the largest independent distributors of car and motor commercial parts in the north-east of England taking their number of branches to 8. Steve Smith Managing Director of NPA commented “We are delighted to have opened our eighth branch on Horndale Avenue, Newton Aycliffe. The growth and transformation of one of the biggest business parks in the North East was key in our decision to expand and supplement our existing network”

On the junction of Redworth Way and Durham Way North a new 3 unit retail scheme has just had planning permission, and we hope to make new further announcements on this shortly.
