Century old accountants secure Middlesbrough expansion

Wasley Chapman Chartered Accountants has expanded to Riverside Park in Middlesbrough, signing a ten year lease.

Founded in 1918, Wasley Chapman has offices in Redcar, Guisborough, Saltburn, Scarborough and Whitby, catering to both private and public clients.

Acting on behalf of Landlord Caddick Developments, Connect Property North East secured the letting of a 2,500 sq ft office suite at Eggleston Court for the firm.

Philip Cuthbert, Partner at Wasley Chapman, said: “We searched Middlesbrough thoroughly for the perfect new location for the firm and we are delighted with the space we acquired at Eggleston Court.

“We moved into our new offices in June where we have 18 staff with room to grow the team, in fact we have recruited four new people since the move.

“The location is ideal as it sits close to the heart of the town and also offers ample parking for staff and visitors. We were really happy to work alongside CPNE throughout the process and with the service they provided.“

Tim Carter, Director at Connect Property North East (CPNE) who negotiated the letting commented: “We are delighted to have secured this new letting at Eggleston Court which is becoming a popular choice for professional services occupiers, which already include the Swedish multi-national bank Handelsbanken.

“Riverside Park is a much improved business environment with Eggleston Court offering good quality office accommodation, excellent car parking and very competitive levels of rent”
