GO Interiors Expand into Middlesbrough
GO Interiors the largest independent distributor of dry lining, suspended ceilings, insulation and partition systems in the UK have relocated their Teesside distribution facility to Longlands Road in Middlesbrough.
The one acre site and buildings are visible from both Cargo Fleet Lane and Longlands Road providing direct access to the A66. The site sits prominently adjacent to We Buy Any Car and Lidl.
Acting jointly with Leeds based Carter Towler, Connect Property North East were responsible for completing the letting on behalf of a private investment client.
Guy Hamilton Branch Manager at Go Interiors commented” “We’re delighted with the result. Relocating this busy and expanding business, into a completely redesigned and reconstructed site, was always going to be challenging.
We really appreciate the advice and help we’ve had and being a blank page it’s allowed us to include some of our exciting new building products, like magnetic plastering, loadbearing plasterboard, expandable internal door and window frames, frameless internal office glass screens and acoustic ceiling rafts,
There is also a dedicated training facility, where specialist subcontractors and specifiers can try out these and other ground-breaking products, for themselves, in the New Year.
Director Jonathan Simpson at Connect Property North East, said “the property previously occupied by Travis Perkins has undergone a significant refurbishment in order to meet the occupational needs of Go Interiors.
“We received a high level of interest in the unit from a wide variety of businesses, primarily in the construction and trade related industries. The decision of Go to relocate to this site underlines the ongoing confidence in the construction sector, which is further enhanced by Travis Perkins decision to relocate to purpose built premises on Sotherby Road in Middlesbrough.
