Connect Property North East (CPNE) narrowly missed the overall North-East deals winner slot in the most recent EGI awards. However, the overall standing with podiums across retail, industrial, offices and investment sectors was received with huge gratification by CPNE in only their second trading of year.
Andrew Wilkinson, Director commented “The strength and depth of our ability to advise across all sectors in the North-East is something we have all strived to deliver through our business so it is therefore with immense pride that are efforts have received acknowledgement alongside the long established other key players in our North-East market.”
Connect Property topped the retail category for number of retail deals in the North-East category in 2016 with 2nd place in the office and industrial sectors and a respectable 3rd in investment and 4th in leisure transactions.
Tim Carter CPNE founding Director added, “We would like to congratulate our fellow agents on their individual successes also. The North-East market has many challenges and an element of competition amongst us is good for both we as agents and our clients, and keeps us all ‘on our game’. We work well together and all companies should be proud of the value we can all add to the North-East property market.
2017 will be a challenging year most predict across the market with effects of Brexit, Business Rates, evolving technology and general world events influencing the local and regional economy in less predictable ways possibly. Jonathan Simpson added “for our business, we will continue to provide property advice from the ground and hopefully we can also compete again to secure the ‘Most Active Agent’ in 2017 in the national property competition”
